Gee, there's a f***ing surprise. I seem to recall posting LAST YEAR when my bone stock 98 Savage toasted a 1200 Buell in the stoplight drags the weekend of the Gulfport Blow-Out. The Savage will take off from the line like a scalded dog. Too bad there isn't s**t for top end. Tune your carb and grind the rear pulley down a bit and see what happens. I don't get out of third gear until at least 45 mph now. Fifth is now good for pegging the needle.
As for whether or not will keep it, the jury is still out. If Lisa will take it, I'll get another Knuckle/Pan? or generator ShovelHead Harley, and get back to my riding roots. I'm starting to miss the club scene a bit, not enough to get active again, but enough to get a bike that would enable me to do so if desired.
Gotta go. Been driving the new truck, and since Lisa doesn't have school tomorrow, I might actually get to ride my bike while it is sill mine. Catch ya'll later.
